Early season

It snowed again so we could go shreddin`! We had good time  and captured few tricks on video this weekend..
Unluckily the sun wasn`t shining and it was a bit slushy..
There were funny obstacles such as the " J "- rail and a spine.

Beginning of the season!

In the past week, we had a bit snow, like 10-15cm, for three days, so we took advantage for it and went to skiing/snowboarding! We had sessions in da Maaselkä, and got couple amazing shots there! Waiting for our member Mikko sends them to us and we'll upload to Facebook and here! We filmed too with GoPro Hero HD, but it was way too dark to see anything from the video.. Yeah, it annoys us that the snow melt almost right away! Hope so the weather predictions are right, and next week we'll have snowy week, with temperature dropping low ! So keep on waiting till the next week, not forgettin' our little holiday (because we have our independence day!) And if there's enough snow, we'll have some sessions named JouluLounas (ChristmasLunch) traditionally named after our first sessions together, SyysLounas (FallLunch) - sessions. Boardexpo etc

Bujakaah! Last weekend me and Mikko were in Boardexpo. There were lots of new stuff. Season 11/12 is here! There was bagjump too.. it was so fun. I did few doubles there and one of them was captured on video..

Today we were making a wooden system that is a base of kicker.. It`ll be huge! Maybe we`ll try to do some doubles in winter, who knows haha!

And the weatherman told, that this week it starts snowing! Hallelujah! And then we're going to shred  on Maaselkä, and grab some footage too for you to see!

Secret Park Project! - Part 1

We have some projects for our backcountry park, and there are few obstacles already: About 10 meter drop, 5 meter drops, etc, but now we're building gigantic backcountry kicker! It's 3 meters high, and almost 4 meters wide! From there you can get huge airs, but here we are building it, we made timelapse edit from it:

Wearing all the same: Team clothes!

So we decided to design some team clothes to Urbån Ninjas, so we made these t-shirts, and we might design some beanies too, if people likes our clothing!

Kaamos-depression

It has been soo long time since we've got to ski or snowboarding! Though it's insane and cool that winter is close, just few more months and we'll be able to shred and jib again!

Next week our autumn holiday starts, and one of our members, Leevi, goes to Lapland and hopefully he grabs some footage with him! After all, Ruka opens in a week. But here in middle Finland, we've not seen any snow yet. 

But we'll have some rail sessions, that begins the season, and we've named it boredomelly SyysLounas (means AutumnBreak, but straight translation is AutumnLunch).

In the mean time, we wait winter more than ever, and hopefully it snows tomorrow or someday!

Very talkative & funny guy, makes people laugh!
Leevi's awesome snowboarder, raising talent in my opinion!

He has family at Lapland, so he goes there often, and can go hit some bigger jumps and cooler rails!

You'll hear that name some day!
Favorite trick is fs 540 stalefish !

Leevi has great inspiration ideas, about where we should go, what we should do, and gets always the right capturing angles!

Mikko Pöllänen:

Mikko just started snowboarding, so he has lot to learn, but I bet that someday he will hit some crazy tricks!

Mikko is very talented photographer, and he has shot almost all of our pictures!
In the future he will shoot some more pics and edit our films!

Favorite trick is definitely superman frontflip, and tail grab 540 !

Can do a frontflip blindfolded, makes it look almost boring..

Insane guy, I mean mad, have retarded jokes and is a clown!
Gets weird, but sometimes even working ideas how to build some jumps or develops new lines !
